Killer Book Launches

I had so much fun during my book launch this month! Below are a few photos and highlights from early book reviewers. Thanks to those of you who joined me. If you haven’t read A Fatal Twist yet, I hope you’ll give it a try!

Edmonds Bookshop Art Walk: The Edmonds Bookshop is truly my favorite little gem of a community book store.  Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in the area.  Ask them about the book of poems by dogs.  So cute!

Blog Tour Reviews:  I’m so pleased with the initial reviews of my newest book.  Loving it!

…a funny story and the author does a wonderful job with the characters and scenes. ~Bab’s Book Bistro

With Tracy Weber we get an abundance of education while having fun…The action and troubles seem to never cease. ~Laura’s Interests

The author has created characters that are fun and entertaining…I highly recommend this book (and series) to all readers! ~A Date With A Book

Kate is the main character in this cozy mystery. She has a great sense of empathy for others and I loved how she was determined to make sure the right killer was charged. ~Texas Book-aholic

The characters are all well-written and have depth to them. The plot is captivating with so many different possible outcomes. ~Socrates’ Book Reviews…

I have several reasons for loving these stories, there is always a great mystery, the characters are genuine and continue to grow, relationships are fluid, there is humor in all the right places and I always learn something new. ~Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book

Definitely a great series for those who love yoga, babies, and puppies. I found myself unable to put this book down and don’t think you will either! ~Community Bookstop

Writing each Downward Dog Mystery takes about a year, and involves more hours than you can even imagine. I’m already looking forward to next year’s launch events!

Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

This is so cool! My favorite photo is the one of you and Gigi together. I love the books both of you write! I never saw myself reading mysteries involving yoga (or trying it!) but I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to read the next installment in each series.

I love Tasha’s picture in the email the best. She was beautiful. I love my Gracie at age 16 last year. Losing my babies are some of the worst things I have ever had to go through. I have my two boys now, Osgar and Gumbo, but my heart still aches for the loss of Gracie and her sister, Sunni, in 2009.

The design is by a Seattle artist. I have one left that I’ll give away someday soon. Stay tuned!

While the banner had me smiling, the group yoga photo touched my heart. At the top of the picture are, I think and hope, a father and son. They are oblivious of everyone, except each other. They are touching and making eye contact. Their body language shouts love, connection, and involved communication between them. Breathtaking. Heartwarming. Hopeful. Respect. Altogether wonderful to see amid a group of all women. It reached out and grabbed me!

I LOVE the picture of you and Gigi, mostly because I recognize that store behind you two!! I love that place, it is so quaint and they have an amazing selection, plus you just can’t beat the smell! Any picture that can show a wide selection of books AND an amazing author is tops to me. You two look like you are having fun.

I am loving all the photos, too. The one of you holding your newest release makes me drool for some book marks and a few cards. I’ll often send bookmarks and/or cards to members of my on line book club when I find a book or series I enjoy so they can find it on their own. The one of the books and swag is just a wonderful display of goodies. Your fans on the floor show how entranced they are with your words. The ones with you and Gigi and the display of books reminds me of when I owned my own shop in 1988- 1990. I had several small rooms in my rental space and one room was for romance, there was a mystery corner and a display of first edition paperback Perry Masons, a small kids area, etc. There was an empty room next door where I would have local authors have their signings. The best customers in the world are readers! There were times when I’d be straightening for a new day and simply look around and touch some books! Then there is Tasha. She looks well cared for and loved and dogs can’t love those who have bad spirits, so it tells me how wonderful her person is. Much success, Tracy, I look forward to reading “A Fatal Twist”.

I have to say I’m a newbie to you and you are to me. This is the first time I have heard the stories of the life and mostly the loss of your beautiful dog Tasha. To me that was the best part of your email. I read both links you left and had tears in my eyes most of the time. I don’t think they were tears of sadness , they were just tears from reading such a beautiful love story. I’m going right now to buy the whole series that you wrote with Tasha As the model. I don’t know why, but maybe it will make me feel closer to Tasha like your links did. You write beautifully.

    To you and Tasha,
