I had so much fun during my book launch this month! Below are a few photos and highlights from early book reviewers. Thanks to those of you who joined me. If you haven’t read A Fatal Twist yet, I hope you’ll give it a try!
Edmonds Bookshop Art Walk: The Edmonds Bookshop is truly my favorite little gem of a community book store. Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in the area. Ask them about the book of poems by dogs. So cute!
Seattle Mystery Bookshop—hanging out with the awesome Gigi Pandian! Look at all of those pretty books!
Whole Life Yoga Book Birthday Party. What a bunch of awesome fans and killer prizes!
Blog Tour Reviews: I’m so pleased with the initial reviews of my newest book. Loving it!
…a funny story and the author does a wonderful job with the characters and scenes. ~Bab’s Book Bistro
With Tracy Weber we get an abundance of education while having fun…The action and troubles seem to never cease. ~Laura’s Interests
The author has created characters that are fun and entertaining…I highly recommend this book (and series) to all readers! ~A Date With A Book
Kate is the main character in this cozy mystery. She has a great sense of empathy for others and I loved how she was determined to make sure the right killer was charged. ~Texas Book-aholic
The characters are all well-written and have depth to them. The plot is captivating with so many different possible outcomes. ~Socrates’ Book Reviews…
I have several reasons for loving these stories, there is always a great mystery, the characters are genuine and continue to grow, relationships are fluid, there is humor in all the right places and I always learn something new. ~Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book
Definitely a great series for those who love yoga, babies, and puppies. I found myself unable to put this book down and don’t think you will either! ~Community Bookstop
Writing each Downward Dog Mystery takes about a year, and involves more hours than you can even imagine. I’m already looking forward to next year’s launch events!
Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
Tracy Weber
All four books in the Downward Dog Mystery Series are available at booksellers everywhere

This is so cool! My favorite photo is the one of you and Gigi together. I love the books both of you write! I never saw myself reading mysteries involving yoga (or trying it!) but I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to read the next installment in each series.
Thanks! Gigi is awesome!

It’s a very cookl bookshop. They have a few signed copies of my books, too!

Thanks for reading it. I hope you love A Fatal Twist.
Great blog! I’m looking forward to reading this series! The photos are great!
Thanks! I hope you love it!
I love Tasha’s picture in the email the best. She was beautiful. I love my Gracie at age 16 last year. Losing my babies are some of the worst things I have ever had to go through. I have my two boys now, Osgar and Gumbo, but my heart still aches for the loss of Gracie and her sister, Sunni, in 2009.
So sorry for your loss. Tasha was a beautiful soul.
My favorite picture is the one of you and Gigi. I love this series. Thanks for the chance.
Thanks! Gigi is one of my favorite people.
I love the photo of the display with the books and swag. I especially love the dog tote!
The design is by a Seattle artist. I have one left that I’ll give away someday soon. Stay tuned!
Thank you for the post! I especially liked seeing the tabletop with all of the beautiful books–both of you have books with charming, interesting covers!
Thanks! We both love our cover art.
This is my favorite review snippet. I have to agree with it.
I have several reasons for loving these stories, there is always a great mystery, the characters are genuine and continue to grow, relationships are fluid, there is humor in all the right places and I always learn something new. ~Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book
Thank you! I love that review!
While the banner had me smiling, the group yoga photo touched my heart. At the top of the picture are, I think and hope, a father and son. They are oblivious of everyone, except each other. They are touching and making eye contact. Their body language shouts love, connection, and involved communication between them. Breathtaking. Heartwarming. Hopeful. Respect. Altogether wonderful to see amid a group of all women. It reached out and grabbed me!
They are a father and son. Beautiful, aren’t they?
you holding your book.
Thanks! My husband says I should make that my new author photo!
I love your setup with books and all. Wish i lived in Seattle so I could go.
Love dogs and will have to go o book store and look for these books.
I want to read them. Thank you
Thanks! I hope you give the series a try and love it!
Love the picture with you and felllow author Gigi Pandian. Best of luck for the next book in the series.
Thank you!
Yay for a release! Love your books. My favourite photo is the books bday party, where they are all gathered round, relaxing on the floor, listening and enjoying.
It was a great party. The cake was delish!
I won a copy of the first book and loved it!! So much I am compelled to read the whole series.
You just made my night! Thank you!
I really like the picture of you and Gigi. The book store looks as cozy as the one my sister had. Its so much more friendly when they’re small.
And it’s all mysteries! Such a fun place.
picture of all the people sitting on the floor is my favorite.
We had a good time!
I love the pictures of the dogs and I know it’s hard to lose one because they are part of the family . I also know they will always be in are hearts forever.
Thanks. My bonds with my dogs have been pretty incredible. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I LOVE the picture of you and Gigi, mostly because I recognize that store behind you two!! I love that place, it is so quaint and they have an amazing selection, plus you just can’t beat the smell! Any picture that can show a wide selection of books AND an amazing author is tops to me. You two look like you are having fun.
We did! A book event is much more fun when shared with another author.
So glad you are still having fun. Now, when do we get #5?
It’s out next January!
I love all of the photos. My favorite is the last photo with all of the books on the table. It looks very inviting. I’d definitely check it out and buy some books. Congratulations on a successful book launch! I’m looking forward to reading A Fatal Twist.
Thank you! I hope you love it!
I like the third picture, cause, books. Books usually look very nice. Seems like you had a lot of fun, that’s good.
Books, books and more books. YEAH!
I love the table with all of the books and prizes.
I love the photo of you at the table, holding up your new release! The book of poems by dogs, [that you mentioned], sounds neat. Thanks for sharing your photos of the Jan. tour!
The dog poem book is one of my new favorites. SOOOOOO cute!
I like the picture of you sitting holding your book, you look so happy!!!
Thank you, Darlene! I’m happy most of the time, but never more than when I have a new book!
I like the Whole Life Yoga Book Birthday Party pictures! Looks like a real good time!!!!
I am loving all the photos, too. The one of you holding your newest release makes me drool for some book marks and a few cards. I’ll often send bookmarks and/or cards to members of my on line book club when I find a book or series I enjoy so they can find it on their own. The one of the books and swag is just a wonderful display of goodies. Your fans on the floor show how entranced they are with your words. The ones with you and Gigi and the display of books reminds me of when I owned my own shop in 1988- 1990. I had several small rooms in my rental space and one room was for romance, there was a mystery corner and a display of first edition paperback Perry Masons, a small kids area, etc. There was an empty room next door where I would have local authors have their signings. The best customers in the world are readers! There were times when I’d be straightening for a new day and simply look around and touch some books! Then there is Tasha. She looks well cared for and loved and dogs can’t love those who have bad spirits, so it tells me how wonderful her person is. Much success, Tracy, I look forward to reading “A Fatal Twist”.
Thanks, Evelyn! I have lots of bookmarks, so if you’d like some, e-mail me at Tracy@WholeLifeYoga.com. Let me know how many you’d like, and I’ll send them to you!
What an awesome launch you had. They were all awesome photos… very colorful, engaging & inviting 🙂
You & Gigi are Adorkable in your photo! I really would have liked to participate in the Yoga one- how fun! Looking forward to reading A Fatal Twist 😀

Thanks!
It would have to be the photo of Tasha. She has such an expressive face!! Ana will make a great model someday, because she’s just as beautiful. She came in 2nd!!
Thank you! Ana has to work harder since her face is all one color. 😉
I like the picture of you at the table. You look so happy and proud. You have a right to be both! Awesome book! I have dogs too. Good luck!

Liked all the pictures, especially the photo of your new dog. Seemed very happy!
She’s TOTALLY happy! Talk about a dog that embraces life! She keeps me busy, that’s for sure!
I have to say I’m a newbie to you and you are to me. This is the first time I have heard the stories of the life and mostly the loss of your beautiful dog Tasha. To me that was the best part of your email. I read both links you left and had tears in my eyes most of the time. I don’t think they were tears of sadness , they were just tears from reading such a beautiful love story. I’m going right now to buy the whole series that you wrote with Tasha As the model. I don’t know why, but maybe it will make me feel closer to Tasha like your links did. You write beautifully.
To you and Tasha,
Julie Stafford
Thank you so much, Julie. Tasha was an amazing animal. I hope you love the series.
I love the pic of you at the table holding up your book! I absolutely LOVED the fist book Murder Strikes a Pose!!! I listened to it on Audible and left a review….definitely want to continue this series! I love it!!
Thanks for listening to it! We’re currently working on the second book. Stay tuned!
I love the table with all of the books sitting on it when people walk in that is nice that they can pick the books they don’t have and not pay shipping etc…Also thank you for the chance and love the newsletter!
Thank you! I’m grateful that you read it!
I am sorry for your loss. I lost my wonderful friend at 1 1/2 years old from cancer. I now have two more dog friends that mean everything to me.
I love the snippet from Community Bookstop.
I’m so sorry for your loss–especially so young! Glad you have new friends to love.
My favorite picture was on the email! I love German shepherds! I envy the people sitting on the floor, with my arthritis, I might get down but not so sure about back up?
I’d always give you a hand up! 😉
Love the picture with all the books and the tote. Thanks for sharing
Thank you and good luck!
I love the top picture because you are surrounded by colorful, wonderful books and living your dream, looking quite peaceful and happy. Love the notepad….It’s like you could stab someone every time you work on your “to do” list! Miss you
Miss you, too! That notepad was quite the find. I’m keeping one for myself! They’re actually a lot cuter in real life than the photo shows….
Love the dog and crossbones! Just downloaded the first of your books, can hardly wait to get into it.
Isn’t it Cute? She’s a Seattle artist. I hope you love the book!

Maybe it will happen someday!
